We want to hear your ideas for rain-friendly public spaces!
We’ll be hosting another community workshop - coming up on Thursday, March 28, 2019. Come by any time between 1:00pm and 5:00pm to work on your designs. The format is casual - a fun, friendly drop-in session where you’ll receive support in creating your Life Between Umbrellas competition submission.
The workshop takes place at CityLab (511 W Broadway at Cambie).

The Vancouver Public Space Network and Viva Vancouver are partnering on Life Between Umbrellas, a “Design Ideas and Activation Contest“ to generate ideas on ways to improve public space and public life during Vancouver’s rainy months.
The contest is open to anyone interested in making public spaces more rain-friendly. Multiple prizes will be awarded, including prizes for children and youth under 19.
